Outreach Leader
1. Commit to faithful attendance in Sunday School and Worship Services.
2. Personally commit to evangelism training and visitation.
3. Welcome / Greet all first time guests.
4. For follow-up, ensure that guest information is relayed to:
- The teacher
- The church office
- The designated class members (see #’s 5 and 6 below).
5. Acquire information from the evangelism coordinator regarding the guests in the worship service. Relay this information to:
- The teacher
- The class outreach greeters
6. Enlist other members from the class to assist you in contacting all guests (both Sunday School and Worship) within two days of their visit to the church
7. Join with the teacher in praying for all guests on a weekly basis
8. Confirm that an evangelism team visits each guest in a timely fashion (within two weeks of their first visit to the church)
9. Develop a class prospect file in conjunction with the teacher. Contact all prospects regarding class fellowships
10. Maintain contact with all prospects / guests until:
- He or she joins the class (enrolls voluntarily or attends 3 times in a given month)
- Email the care group leader, secretary, and teacher all of the contact information for the new class member
- The person joins another church
- The person requests contacts to cease
11. Nurture relationships with guests outside the church setting and encourage other class members to do the same
12. Communicate various concerns or prayer requests to the teacher and prayer leader
