Lake Day – Saturday, August 1st (10 am – 4 pm)

Come out for some fun in the sun!
Join us at Sandling Beach picnic shelter #4 (PS #4) on Saturday, August 1st (from 10-4 pm). The pavilion, grills and the swimming beach are all ours to enjoy, so bring a friend and come on out. Kids of any age are completely welcome.
What to do:
- Invite a friend and bring your kids (of any age)
- Tell us that you are coming (sign up here). We want be sure there are plenty of hot dogs and hamburgers for you and your guests!
- Bring a side dish to share (type of salad, side dish, dessert, soda, chips, any any extra trimmings that you would like on the burgers and hotdogs)
- Bring a bathing suit, if you’d like to swim. Guys are asked to wear swim trunks–no speedos please! Ladies are asked to wear a modest one-piece or tankini that does not expose midriff, or wear a dark t-shirt over any other two-piece.
- Bring $5 cash, per vehicle, for admission to the state park

What is provided:
- Hotdogs, hamburgers along with the buns, ketchup and mustard
- Clean grills and hot coals
- Sweet tea, lemonade, and water
- Ice
- Cups, plates, napkins, and silverware
- Volleyball on the beach
Wanna’ car pool?
Meet at the church at 9 am and we’ll pick some drivers and ride out together. Each car load is responsible for the park’s $5 admission fee. If you’d like to coordinate your own car pool, simply explain what time you’d like to head over and how folks may reach you in the Questions/Comments field as you sign up for the event.
