Picnic in the Park

Sunday, May 16th 2010, from 11:30 – 3 pm is the annual Picnic in the Park!

Grab some takeout, grab your friends and join us Sunday, May 16th for a picnic in the park after church. Enjoy a refreshing afternoon with your favorite singles. Volleyball, ice water and cups are all provided–the rest is up to you!

 We are meeting at the Main Street Park (200 S Main St, Rolesville) directly after the 3rd service at 11:30 am. This is the park that is on the NORTH side of South Main Street, which has the white gazebo visible from the street (not the one behind the elementary school having the  three baseball fields). Picnic shelter B (directly behind the gazebo next to the play ground) is ours. The open field, playground, and covered pavilion make this a great location for any age.

Folks are bringing whatever they and their families would like to eat. Several people, no doubt, will just stop somewhere on the way and purchase fast food. We’ll  have ice water and cups for anyone who gets too warm. We’ll also set up a volleyball net for any who want to play. Also, bring any sort of outdoor game that you like.
